Medesk considers individual roles and responsibilities within the clinic and arranges everything in the just the right way for patients, doctors, receptionists, nurses and practice managers alike. From a marketing perspective, we benefit from the online booking and patient portal modules. It represents an elegant solution through which our patients can book themselves an appointment over the internet in a couple of clicks.

I had been searching for practice management software for a long time, but I couldn’t find the right application until I sent an email to Medesk. I have been asking our receptionists and sonographers about how they have been finding the transition to this new patient management software, and they reported it to be easier and quicker. We’ve even been asking our clients, and they’ve said it’s great, too. Medesk has allowed us to become eco-friendly, and it saves us time that was previously spent on pulling out all the patient records and filing them again. It means that we are working more cost-effectively.
You've got a great product. You really do. The strengths of it for me are the flexibility. Having something that is ultimately as flexible as it is, is its strength because I feel that I can customise it to do exactly what we need it to do.
You know, the reporting is very strong. The marketing side of it is very strong. The tags - I love the use of tags because I get tags. I've got a background in that kind of way of having taxonomies and things like that. So tagging comes naturally to me. One very important thing that I've managed to do, and I've done it with tags and tasks, a combination of tags and tasks, is that I've made a patient tracker. And you need a patient tracker for the CQC. You can actually demonstrate that you're tracking patients right through their treatment pathway. And that's been brilliant because we've managed to get rid of a lot of paper forms.
And I feel that is more reliable and that people won't forget to do things like book follow-ups. We can run a report very easily that shows us where our patients are.
