Stripe provides you with a convenient way to collect prepayments and deposits. You'll slash the likelihood of no-shows and cancellations and make it incredibly easy for patients to understand exactly what they are paying for.

Integration with Stripe allows you to configure prepayments for services displayed in the Medesk Online Booking module.

Patients booking online can be asked to pay either a minimum deposit or the full amount in advance before their appointment is marked as confirmed.

Easy and transparent for patients

Patients can be allowed to choose whether to pay a minimal fee or the full amount for services booked. Patients can postpone their payment until a later time with the Pay Later button. Bookings left unpaid will be given the status Pending prepayment.

You can define a time after which postponed prepayments can no longer be made and the associated booking will be cancelled automatically.

Quick set up

If you are already a Medesk user all you need is to click the Connect to Stripe button in Settings Integrations Stripe.

A window will pop up, in which you can authorise your Stripe account for use with Medesk or create a new account by filling out the registration form.

You will receive a notification informing you that setup was successful.
